What To Write To A Friend Who Lost A Pet

CHALLENGES OF LIFE - Making Decisions!

Decision Making - Running Risks
Ben struggles with decision making. The brand of your next car, a potential change of career, or engage in long-term relationship, only increase the anxiety of Ben. If only our decisions had no risks, to ensure the desired result! Decision making requires us to:

accept responsibility for the success or failure of our decision.
Experience firsthand how that decision helps or hurts others.
Identify the most reliable source of wisdom that equip us to make these decisions.

Decision Making - Losing your head!
Decision making based only on human nature often produces serious consequences. When our selfish impulses influence the decision comes shortly after the disaster. In the Bible, Abram (Abraham) gave him his nephew, Lot, the best land that rightfully belonged to Abram (Genesis 13:8-11). Lot made his decision without worrying about Abram. Lot's selfish desire to have the most fertile plains, with wells of water, he did settle near evil and sinful Sodom and Gomorrah. Abram, on the other hand, relied on the promise of God (Genesis 12:1-3, 7) no matter what you decide Lot. Making decisions based on the promises and commandments of God always gives us peace.

When we exclude God from our decision making, intentionally ignore God's instructions. "But I will look to him who is humble and contrite spirit, and trembles at my word. And they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations... I also will choose their delusions, and will bring upon them what they feared ... Because I called, nobody answered. I spoke, they did not hear, but did evil before my eyes, and chose what displeases me "(Isaiah 66:2-4, NIV). Our pride and selfishness suggest:" I will do this. If God does not stop me, you should be fine. "Instead, one should seek the guidance and wisdom of God before we make any decision.

His mind - Causes rash decisions (1 Corinthians 3:18-19).
The Peer Pressure - produces confusion and failure (Jeremiah 7:24).
The Mind of God - It gives you supernatural wisdom (Proverbs 2:3-8).
Decision Making - a humbling experience
One most difficult factors in decision-making is a humble himself, to admit that we do not know everything, or we have failed. King David experienced firsthand how the decision caused Israel to be punished. After David's disobedience, God offered three options of punishment - famine, destruction at the hands of their enemies, or plague (1 Chronicles 21:7-15). David based his decision following the mercy of God. David understood to submit to the commandments of God was the right decision, even if it was painful.

all make serious mistakes, decisions we would have liked not to have ever taken. Moses ignored the instructions of God (Numbers 20:8-12), Samson gave his strength (Judges 16:17-21), and Peter repeatedly denied knowing Jesus Christ (John 18:25-27). Each of these great men are humbled by asking God's forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9).

The path in any decision-making can be difficult and long. By trusting God's plan for our lives and experience peace in the storms of life. Any decision that brings us closer in our relationship with God ensures success (Jeremiah 29:11-13). When we submit our will (pride and selfish motives) to the will of God, He gives us the desires of our heart (Psalm 27:3-5).
